Connect 3 in a row across a 3×3×3 cube
3D Tic Tac Toe takes the classic game into three dimensions. Play on a 3×3×3 cube with 27 positions spread across three layers — Bottom, Middle, and Top. Be the first to connect three markers in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally within a single layer or across layers.
With 45 possible winning lines and full 3D rotation, every game is a spatial puzzle that challenges your ability to think in three dimensions.
How do I place a marker?
Tap any open position (shown as small dark spheres at the intersection of grid lines) on the board. If you have a specific layer selected, only positions on that layer will accept taps.
How do I rotate and zoom the board?
Swipe left or right anywhere on the board to rotate it for a better view. Pinch with two fingers to zoom in or out.
What are the layer buttons (Bot / Mid / Top / All)?
These let you focus on a single horizontal layer of the cube. When a layer is selected, the other layers fade out so you can see the active layer clearly. Tap "All" to show the full cube.
Why are space diagonals not counted as wins?
The four corner-to-corner diagonals that pass through the center of the cube give too strong an advantage to the first player, so they are excluded to keep the game balanced. There are still 45 winning lines to compete over.
What does the Hint button do?
It highlights the best available move with a pulsing yellow sphere. The hint is calculated using the optimal AI strategy, regardless of the difficulty setting you chose.
Can I undo a move?
Yes — tap Undo to take back your most recent move. In single-player mode it also undoes the computer's response. Undo is available once per turn.
Who goes first?
Player 1 (or the human in vs Computer mode) goes first in the opening game. After that, the first move alternates each time you restart.
What iOS version do I need?
The app requires iOS 16 or later and runs on both iPhone and iPad.

3D Tic Tac Toe does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app runs entirely on your device with no network connections, user accounts, or analytics. No information is shared with third parties.
